Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Mission at Cordova by Robert Elmer Lougheed for USD 7,012.50 (€ 6,351.90). This price was achieved in the auction Western Art at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Elmer Lougheed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scattering the Bell Riders in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 93,373.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mission at Cordova von Robert Elmer Lougheed für USD 7.012,50 (€ 6.351,90) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Elmer Lougheed erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scattering the Bell Riders im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 93.373,76).
