Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Future Champions by Robert Elmer Lougheed was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. The price achieved of USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,322.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Elmer Lougheed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scattering the Bell Riders in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 93,373.76).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.322,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Elmer Lougheed erzielen.
