Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,689.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Charles Gustave Laurens Mols have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yeni Cami, Constantinople in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 46,600.00 (€ 32,209.01).
