In the 19th Century European Art including Orientalist and Spanish Art auction, the work Canale Della Giudecca, Palazzo Ducale and Santa Maria de la Salute, Venice changed hands for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,528.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Charles Gustave Laurens Mols - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yeni Cami, Constantinople, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 46,600.00 (€ 32,209.01).
