Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape With Donkeys And A Figure by Robert Burrows was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in November 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,603.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Burrows - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A milkmaid by a watermill; and Cattle watering in a river landscape, which sold at auction in September 2005 for GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,874.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape With Donkeys And A Figure von Robert Burrows kam im November 2006 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.603,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
