A Selection of the most interesting of Sir Robert Ainslie's celebrated Collection of Views in Turkey in Europe, and Asia, Syria, Sicily, The Eolian Islands, Temple of Diana at Ephesus, Jupiter Ammon in Libya. [Bound with:] The Campaign of Waterloo. [And:] The Triumphs of Europe in the Campaigns of the Years 1812, 1813, 1814. [And:] An Illustrated Record of Important Events in the Annals of Europe. London: Bowyer, 1811, 1816, 1814-1815. 3 works in 4 parts in one volume, 2° (465 x 330mm). Together 49 hand-coloured aquatint plates on 47 leaves, some folding, and 6 monochrome plates. (The first title-page and last leaf dampstained with some discoloration, the second work without half-title, occasional dampstaining and light soiling.) Nineteenth-century half calf over purple textured and patterned cloth boards, gilt morocco labels to spine and upper board (spine ends and corners repaired, lower board faded, extremities rubbed).
