In March 2007 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work A market at the Forum of Nerva, Rome by Robert Alott. The price achieved of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,662.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00.
