It achieved a price of USD 13,970.00 (€ 12,653.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 75%. Admittedly, works by Robert Adams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Longmont, Colorado in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 70,896.81).

Die Arbeit Pawnee National Grassland, Colorado von Robert Adams wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 13.970,00 (€ 12.653,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 75%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Adams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Longmont, Colorado im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 70.896,81).
