Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Broken trees near Box Springs Mtns., east of Riverside, California by Robert Adams. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,240.00 (€ 13,804.35). Admittedly, works by Robert Adams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Longmont, Colorado in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 70,896.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Broken trees near Box Springs Mtns., east of Riverside, California von Robert Adams zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.240,00 (€ 13.804,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Adams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Longmont, Colorado im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 70.896,81).
