Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Strand" by Rita Lundqvist. The auction ended at the price of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,825.13), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rita Lundqvist - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Fall", which sold at auction in May 2016 for SEK 95,000.00 (€ 10,229.46).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Strand" von Rita Lundqvist zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.825,13) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rita Lundqvist mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Fall" beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für SEK 95.000,00 (€ 10.229,46) versteigert wurde.
