Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British. Cool., which included the work Rod Stewart and Alana Stewart, London, 1979-1980 2 by Richard Young. The price achieved of GBP 357.00 (€ 411.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ten black and white photographs taken at Annabel's depicting Joan Collins, Jack Nicholson, Princess Diana, George Hamilton and Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Ross and Arne Naess, Kate Moss and Harry Styles, Anna Wintour and Richard Caring, Francesca Von Thyssen in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13

Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British. Cool. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rod Stewart and Alana Stewart, London, 1979-1980 2 von Richard Young zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 357,00 (€ 411,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Young erzielen.
