Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, Nivå, maj 83 by Richard Winther was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,140.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Winther - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition of figures, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, Nivå, maj 83 von Richard Winther kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.140,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Winther mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition of figures beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51) versteigert wurde.
