Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Richard Winther could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Untitled from the portfolio “Eks-Skolens Trykkeri 8 år 1972–1980” changed hands for DKK 900.00 (€ 120.59) - just shy of the DKK 2,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Winther achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition of figures in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Winther konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Untitled from the portfolio “Eks-Skolens Trykkeri 8 år 1972–1980” für DKK 900,00 (€ 120,59) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Winther erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition of figures im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51).
