Auction result fails to reach estimate
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Actæon” (Actaeon), 1997 by Richard Winther for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 455.84). This price was achieved in the auction {} at Bruun Rasmussen in Modern art and design and was even lower than the DKK 4,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Richard Winther have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition of figures in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Actæon” (Actaeon), 1997 von Richard Winther für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 455,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion {} bei Bruun Rasmussen in Modern art and design erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Winther auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition of figures im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51).
