Auction result fails to reach estimate
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled from the portfolio “Eks-Skolens Trykkeri 8 år 1972–1980” by Richard Winther for DKK 1,150.00 (€ 154.18). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 2,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Winther achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition of figures in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled from the portfolio “Eks-Skolens Trykkeri 8 år 1972–1980” von Richard Winther für DKK 1.150,00 (€ 154,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Winther erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition of figures im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51).
