Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Episod - 1990 by Richard Texier was sold in the 20th Century Art 1950 to present auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2018. The price achieved of EUR 4,680.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Texier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cosmos, 2002 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 92,940.00.

Die Arbeit Episod - 1990 von Richard Texier wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century Art 1950 to present bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.680,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Texier erzielen.
