Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2016 Christies in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Vente du Jour, which included the work Chaosmos, anatomie du secret by Richard Texier. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 46,250.00 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Texier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cosmos, 2002, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 92,940.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du Jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chaosmos, anatomie du secret von Richard Texier zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 46.250,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Texier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cosmos, 2002 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 92.940,00 versteigert wurde.
