Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction The Dog Sale, which included the work English Terriers - 'Taking Their Pleasure Seriously!' by Richard S. Moseley. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 448.00 (€ 519.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard S. Moseley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Quorum on the Ground-Game Question! in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 15,275.00 (€ 24,307.34).
