Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,213.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard S. Moseley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Quorum on the Ground-Game Question!, which sold at auction in November 2001 for GBP 15,275.00 (€ 24,307.34).
