Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work Zimbabwean at The Art Fair by Richard Mudariki. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,048.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Richard Mudariki have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2020 the work Black Economic Empowerment was auctioned for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,763.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zimbabwean at The Art Fair von Richard Mudariki zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.048,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Richard Mudariki konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2020 die Arbeit Black Economic Empowerment für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.763,28) versteigert.
