Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Battle of Cape Town by Richard Mudariki was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 6,400.00 (€ 7,348.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Richard Mudariki have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2020 the work Black Economic Empowerment was auctioned for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,763.28).

Die Arbeit The Battle of Cape Town von Richard Mudariki wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.400,00 (€ 7.348,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Richard Mudariki konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2020 die Arbeit Black Economic Empowerment für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.763,28) versteigert.
