In October 2016 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Moderna, which included the work "Aubusson" by Richard Mortensen. The result of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 7,075.35) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 70,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Mortensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Dozoule" in May 2021 with an auction result of SEK 620,000.00 (€ 61,216.99).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2016 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Moderna durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Aubusson" von Richard Mortensen zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 7.075,35) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 70.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Mortensen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Dozoule" im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 620.000,00 (€ 61.216,99).
