The work A Chaikhana by Richard Zommer was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,286.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Zommer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gate of Kashmir, which sold at auction in October this year for GBP 95,650.00 (€ 109,832.77).

Die Arbeit A Chaikhana von Richard Zommer kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.286,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Zommer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gate of Kashmir beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für GBP 95.650,00 (€ 109.832,77) versteigert wurde.
