This artwork by Richard Durando-Togo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2013. In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction, the work Nude With Oranges sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,781.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Durando-Togo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanity, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,671.79).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Durando-Togo erzielte im September 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art wurde die Arbeit Nude With Oranges für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.781,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Durando-Togo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vanity beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.671,79) versteigert wurde.
