Auction result misses estimated price range

In the The Astor Collection from Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire auction, the work Studies of a goshawk, eyass falcon, female lanar falcon and male peregrine changed hands for GBP 687.50 (€ 773.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard David Kristupas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red grouse in flight at Tillypronie, which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,672.71).
