In the IMPORTANT BRITISH & IRISH ART auction, the work The Rabbit Hutch sold for GBP 56,400.00 (€ 93,691.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Dadd have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Puck in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 313,250.00 (€ 378,742.79).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Dadd erzielte im Juni 2001 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion IMPORTANT BRITISH & IRISH ART wurde die Arbeit The Rabbit Hutch für GBP 56.400,00 (€ 93.691,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Dadd auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Puck im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 313.250,00 (€ 378.742,79).
