A top price for Richard Dadd - as previously expected
The work Puck by Richard Dadd was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 313,250.00 (€ 378,742.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Puck is the most expensive artwork by Richard Dadd that we have observed at auctions so far.
