The work "Självporträtt som ung" (Self portrait as a young man) by Richard Bergh was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2017. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,697.75), 73% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Richard Bergh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady with a fan in June 2020 with an auction result of SEK 260,000.00 (€ 24,863.32).

Die Arbeit "Självporträtt som ung" (Self portrait as a young man) von Richard Bergh wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.697,75) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Bergh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady with a fan im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 260.000,00 (€ 24.863,32).
