The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,091.25), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Richard Barrett Talbot Kelly have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eider In Flight in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,363.57).
