In May 2001 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Scene con minotauro by Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni. The price achieved of ITL 3,430,000.00 (€ 3,245.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as ITL 3,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Scene con minotauro is the most expensive artwork by Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2001 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scene con minotauro von Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von ITL 3.430.000,00 (€ 3.245,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit ITL 3.000.000,00 – 4.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Scene con minotauro das teuerste Kunstwerk von Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
