In November 2003 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Penisola sorrentina e Isola di Capri by Riccardo Gusmaroli. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,720.00 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Riccardo Gusmaroli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Svizzera, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 13,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im November 2003 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Penisola sorrentina e Isola di Capri von Riccardo Gusmaroli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.720,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Riccardo Gusmaroli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Svizzera beobachtet, die im April 2008 für EUR 13.450,00 versteigert wurde.
