Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Reza Mafi was sold in the Hurouf: The Art of The Word auction at Sothebys in Doha in December 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,130.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reza Mafi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 200,500.00 (€ 144,306.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Reza Mafi wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Hurouf: The Art of The Word bei Sothebys in Doha versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.130,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reza Mafi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.500,00 (€ 144.306,90).
