A top price for Reynold Brown - as previously expected
In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction Posters, which included the work CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON by Reynold Brown. The price achieved of GBP 7,250.00 (€ 10,222.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON is the most expensive artwork by Reynold Brown that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON von Reynold Brown zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.250,00 (€ 10.222,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON das teuerste Kunstwerk von Reynold Brown, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
