In August last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art Online, which included the work Totem figure 95 x 15 x 14cm (37 3/8 x 5 7/8 x 5 1/2in). by Reuben Ugbine. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,721.29), 36% above the upper estimate. Other works by Reuben Ugbine have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,933.65) in October 2018 for the work Mask.

Im August letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Totem figure 95 x 15 x 14cm (37 3/8 x 5 7/8 x 5 1/2in). von Reuben Ugbine zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.721,29) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Reuben Ugbine haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.933,65) im Oktober 2018 für die Arbeit Mask beobachtet.
