The work Nymph And Goat; Europa And The Bull With Cupid: A Group Of Three Sculptures by Reuben Nakian was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2013. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,220.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Reuben Nakian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Head of Marcel Duchamp in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 26,562.50 (€ 23,533.71).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.220,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
