It achieved a price of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,137.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Admittedly, works by Reuben Mednikoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Anatomy of Space in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,948.53).

Die Arbeit Surrealist Forms von Reuben Mednikoff kam im November 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.137,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reuben Mednikoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Anatomy of Space im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.948,53).
