In August 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Ruelle A La Passerelle, Mykonos; And A Companion Painting by René Genis. The result of USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,894.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by René Genis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December last year the work Port de Sanary was auctioned for EUR 2,624.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im August 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ruelle A La Passerelle, Mykonos; And A Companion Painting von René Genis zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.894,51) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von René Genis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres die Arbeit Port de Sanary für EUR 2.624,00 versteigert.
