Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints, which included the work Daisies in a pewter jug with a lemon, peaches and red berries on a table by René de Pauw. The price achieved of GBP 456.00 (€ 677.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by René de Pauw have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sur les bancs de Flandre in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 6,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Daisies in a pewter jug with a lemon, peaches and red berries on a table von René de Pauw zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 456,00 (€ 677,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von René de Pauw auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sur les bancs de Flandre im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.250,00.
