This artwork by René Bertholo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2008. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Vues de l'Archipel sold for USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,367.76) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Bertholo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Avantages et... in July 2007 with an auction result of USD 48,000.00 (€ 35,008.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von René Bertholo erzielte im Juli 2008 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Vues de l'Archipel für USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.367,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Bertholo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Avantages et... im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 35.008,39).
