Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ulivi by Renato Birolli was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in November this year. The price achieved of EUR 19,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Renato Birolli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Incendio alle Cinque Terre in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 131,200.00 (€ 193,480.35).
