Sold at the lower estimate price
In June 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work La terra verde by Renato Birolli. The result of EUR 50,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Renato Birolli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Incendio alle Cinque Terre, which sold at auction in October 2005 for GBP 131,200.00 (€ 193,480.35).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit La terra verde von Renato Birolli zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 50.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Renato Birolli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Incendio alle Cinque Terre beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für GBP 131.200,00 (€ 193.480,35) versteigert wurde.
