Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Il Blu Lontano (Espansione) by Renato Birolli for EUR 15,600.00. This price was achieved in the auction Milan Modern and Contemporary at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Renato Birolli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Incendio alle Cinque Terre in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 131,200.00 (€ 193,480.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Il Blu Lontano (Espansione) von Renato Birolli für EUR 15.600,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Renato Birolli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Incendio alle Cinque Terre im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.200,00 (€ 193.480,35).
