The work Fulmine Sul Vigneto by Renato Birolli was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2015. The result of EUR 60,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Renato Birolli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Incendio alle Cinque Terre, which sold at auction in October 2005 for GBP 131,200.00 (€ 193,480.35).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Fulmine Sul Vigneto von Renato Birolli kam im November 2015 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 60.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Renato Birolli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Incendio alle Cinque Terre beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für GBP 131.200,00 (€ 193.480,35) versteigert wurde.
