Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Rémy van den Abeele achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2019. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction, the work La Soif De L'Absolu sold for EUR 10,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rémy van den Abeele; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Evasion sold at auction in April 2021 with the realized price of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,594.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rémy van den Abeele erzielte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne wurde die Arbeit La Soif De L'Absolu für EUR 10.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rémy van den Abeele; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Evasion im April 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.594,93).
