Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Sailingvessels in a harbour by Reinier Sybrand Bakels. The price achieved of EUR 2,640.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Reinier Sybrand Bakels have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work Sailing barges in a harbour was auctioned for EUR 3,824.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sailingvessels in a harbour von Reinier Sybrand Bakels zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.640,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Reinier Sybrand Bakels konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2002 die Arbeit Sailing barges in a harbour für EUR 3.824,00 versteigert.
