The result of EUR 4,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reinier Lucassen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interieur met gezicht naar buiten in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 41,825.00.

Die Arbeit Little Fontana Blauw 2 von Reinier Lucassen kam im März 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 4.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reinier Lucassen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interieur met gezicht naar buiten im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 41.825,00.
