Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work The Little Copse Wood by Reginald F. Hallward for GBP 360.00 (€ 533.69). This price was achieved in the auction Christopher Wood A Very Victorian Eye at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald F. Hallward achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Don Quixote sets out in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,121.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Little Copse Wood von Reginald F. Hallward für GBP 360,00 (€ 533,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christopher Wood A Very Victorian Eye bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reginald F. Hallward erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Don Quixote sets out im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.121,13).
