Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Reginald F. Hallward could be acquired at Christies in London in September 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Neil Wilson Collection: A Romantic Vision auction, the work A vision of spring changed hands for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,123.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald F. Hallward achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Don Quixote sets out in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,121.13).
