Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work The Gardener by Reginald Brill. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 960.00 (€ 1,112.43), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald Brill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Excavators in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 97,987.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Gardener von Reginald Brill zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.112,43) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reginald Brill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Excavators im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 97.987,13).
