This artwork by Reena Saini Kallat achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2006. In the Indian & Southeast Asian Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 39,000.00 (€ 32,127.85) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Reena Saini Kallat; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of USD 61,000.00 (€ 39,203.08).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Reena Saini Kallat erzielte im März 2006 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Indian & Southeast Asian Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 39.000,00 (€ 32.127,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00.
